OpenOffice.org 2.0

posted by Tyrantmizar at 3:53 pm EST on October 20, 2005

Now, let us get this straight: I love open source. I absolutely abhor Microsoft (and yet I use Windows and have an Xbox) and their applications. Especially Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Word is buggy. It always auto-formats or auto-corrects in the exact wrong way at the worst time. Features that should be simple, like creating a list, are frustrating and annoying. Everything but the basic idea sucks.

That is why I enjoy OpenOffice.org. It is an open source office suite that works. It does everything that Microsoft Works does and more. And, most of all, it does it better. Everything is quicker, smoother, easier, and makes much more sense. If you’re sick of Microsoft Word like I am, try out OpenOffice.org.
